Genome test's ethical problem

1. Sequencing and analysis of the genome of an individual.

2. It is very innovative analysis to predict the future of individual diseases or make some personalized medicines. Therefore it is very helpful to prevent fatal problem.

3. However, it has critical ethical problems. Someone can be estimated by the genetic information. Moreover, in the future, people can select the gene and have a baby with selected gene.

Recently, a meeting was held about synthesizing human genome.(http://www.nytimes.com/2016/05/14/science/synthetic-human-genome.html?_r=0) In my opinion, the gene-selected baby with synthesized gene is very dangerous because it threatens the diversity of genome of human. It should be prohibited to maintain the diversity. if not the human being can be extinct.
