: Proteome is the entire complement of proteins found in an organism, cell, and tissue. Proteome can be separated into cellular proteome, which is collection of protein found in a particular cell type, and complete proteome, which is complete set of proteins from all various cellular proteomes.

- Relationship between genomics, transcriptomics, and proteomics.
: Transcriptomics is study of transcriptome, which is initial product of genome expression, whereas proteomics is study of proteome, which is the final product of genome expression. Genomics makes the genetic mapping by using the information of transcriptomics and proteomics.
