What is Biology?

What is Bioinformatics?

 Bioinformatics is biology.

Biology is a study to aim to understand what life is. The essence of life is information processing. Therefore, bioinformatics, the study of life forms using informatics methods is the key of life science.

 The technical definition:

Bioinformatics is a discipline of science that analyses, seeks understanding and models the whole life as an information processing phenomenon utilizing energy with methods from philosophy, mathmatics and computer science using measurable biological experimental data.
