What is LIFE?

Dr. Jong : Life is set of switches.

Me : I think we can not define the life. There are two reasons.

First, The concept of life is made by human. and human also life. how can we define ourselves? It is quite different problems like defining computer(the real stuff that human made) or Temperature(the imagine thigs            that human made)

Second, If we success to define 'Life', then the defined 'Life' is just about the living things in the Earth. If we can find the really new things organism in the universe then the concept of 'Life' will be a trully wrong thing.

Now, think about the property of definition. Definition can be changed so the previous definition of life that we think is not the definition.

As follows, I think we can not define the LIFE.

Major Domains of Bioinformatics.

 Sequence : Genomics, Comparative Genomics

Structure : Structural Genomics, Structural Proteomics, Biophysics

 Expression : Functional Genomics, Proteomics

 Interaction : Proteomics, Interactomics

 Function: Physiomics, Metabolomics.
