Presentation by Jaehyuk Shin – RNA sequencing
Dogma – Professor said that it is wrong.
Dogmatic = absolute
Contents
- 1 Who’s the first person discovered DNA and RNA? -> Friedrich Miescher ( He got the Nobel Prize with this discovery)
- 2 1 probe – 1 transcriptome
- 3 Eukaryotic – there are many proteins than prokaryotes.
- 4 Expression- There are 2 types
- 5 RFAM = RNA database
- 6 RNA is less diverse than protein.
- 7 Q : What we can do with RNA?
- 8 Q : Why do we analyze the RNA? (This is important)
- 9 RNA expression – short period expression (ex) hormone, collagen)
- 10 When we have some condition or environments, there can be made many changes.
