Presentation by Jaehyuk Shin – RNA sequencing

Dogma – Professor said that it is wrong.

Dogmatic = absolute

Who’s the first person discovered DNA and RNA? -> Friedrich Miescher ( He got the Nobel Prize with this discovery)

1 probe – 1 transcriptome

Eukaryotic – there are many proteins than prokaryotes.

Expression- There are 2 types

RFAM = RNA database

RNA is less diverse than protein.

Q : What we can do with RNA?

Q : Why do we analyze the RNA? (This is important)

RNA expression – short period expression (ex) hormone, collagen)

When we have some condition or environments, there can be made many changes.
