Define the most important 20 words
1. Science : The study of principles of nature. It has many field such as physics, chemistry, biology, etc. Many people are struggling with the emerging principles and concepts to fit on the natural principles by questioning and discussion of experimental data. I think that Question and Discussion is the most important component in science.
2. Biology : Biology is the study of living organism. Actually, biology is the most basic science because they show why we are living. Revealing new concepts of biology is revealing how we live.
3. Neuroscience : The study of brain and their function. It makes us to understand how brain works. However, there are still a lot of unknown concepts in our brain. When we reveal those whole information, then we can achieve control our brain(!).
4. Brain : The most interesting and important organ in our body. This organ can not only regulate the other organs but also do intellectual(mental) activity by synapses of neurons. Also, this organ is own identity of each individual, because if we change our brain each other, then changed body can be the original identity or not, we can’t decide which one is correct.
5. Bioinformatics : This is the study of dealing with the whole information of biology. It contains –omics which is the whole study of the set of biological complexes. Dealing with Bioinformatics is useful for understanding how the living organism maintain their integrity or the change in different condition.
6. Neuron : The fundamental cell unit in brain. This type of cell can induce the signal to the other cell through synapse by electrical and chemical signal. Brain is the set of different neuron which have different role, function.
7. Family : The set of people who have relationship with blood or adoption or marriage(love). These people are very precious people in anyone’s life, also for me, they’re most important in my life.
8. Scientist : The person who engage to figuring out the principle and concepts of nature. They have very criticized eyes to look at any single things in natural components. Also, they could reveal how and why the world and nature formed or works. As this profession’s property, they must be honest, and don’t lie or manipulate their result and interpretation, because it can be very dangerous for everyone who applying those scientific concepts.
9. Biologist : The person who engage to reveal the new information about biology field. The basic attitude are same with scientist because biologist are involved in scientists.
10. Logic : Logic is the best criteria to distinguish whether the concept is true or not. Also, it is the science that investigates the principles governing correct or reliable inference.
11. Music : Music is the set of harmony of sound. This harmony and architecture of sound makes me feel high or relax.
12. Confidence : Confidence is the criteria that how brave you are in certain condition. Also this is generally described as a state of being certain either that a hypothesis or prediction is correct or that a chosen course of action is the best.
13. Discussion : Without discussion, there was no science at all. Discussion is the process that can conclude the idea from me and other people to complement the hole in the logic.
14. Pathfinder : Pathfinder is my part of motto. Be the first pathfinder in the society and in science field.
15. Pioneer : I want to be the pioneer in my interesting field that neuronal regeneration field.
16. Justice : Justice is the legal or philosophical theory by which fairness is administered. The concept of justice differs in every culture or groups. In my life, the justice is not only following the law or rules, but also being polite and nice to other and resolve the problem is the justice.
17. Society : Society is the group which I was in. I want to contribute in the society by science research to improve the life level.
18. Friend : Friend are precious people in my life after my family. Sometimes they give me some help, also I give them some help. Those mutual effects will let us grow and maturation in each person’s own life.
19. DNA : DNA is the most important molecule that storing the whole information of living organism, even bacteria has their own DNA. DNA stands for deoxyribose nucleic acid, is the hereditary material in humans and almost all other organism. This mysterious molecule was found in late 1800s, by the chemist Johann Friedrich Miescher. Also, Watson and Crick figured out the structure of DNA, and there was enormous study about DNA, and even now. I want to find out the intron’s role in the organism, not only in protection of exons.
20. Laboratory : Laboratory is not only the place where doing experiment, but also be actively discussing about scientific knowledge. I was applied laboratory in early year in UNIST, and until now I had great experience about learning science and becoming scientist.
