 structure, sequence, expression about protein

 

-The minimum length of protein is 35

 

-Homology: From same ancestor

 

-Globin: structure is first identified

-Insulin: sequence is first identified

 

- Gene prediction method: by structure, we can predict function of protein

 

-What is ABC?

A: alpha helix

B: beta sheet

C: coil

 

-Protein sequencing is harder than DNA sequencing.

 Because protein has 20 amino acids, but DNA has only 4 nucleotides.
