[05.27.FRI]

1. Interesting things in today's class.

1) Michael’s lecture was very impressive and interesting.

I learned about 23 and me which I can access my genome by using this and about SNPedia and Rebbit.com

2) I made a presentation at class about introduction of Genomics. Hope it made at least some of students in class feel genomics has a lot of interdisciplinary possibilities. I will think about more about how I can connect tissue engineering and genomics.

3) There are two ways of scientific research; Hypothesis-driven or data-driven.

4) ‘T’ indicated diversity and variation and we can predict by using the method of T.

 

2. Shortcomings that I have to overcome?

Last week I wanted to ask some questions on the idea that other student present, but I was too shy to speak up and I said that I will try again in the next class for sure. And I did at this class. I interrupted presenter and asked a question and asked another question.

 

3. Today's SELF HW

I will write a short essay about how I can co-relate tissue engineering or regenerative medicine with genomics.

Michael’s business advices; and I tried to contact him because I didn’t remember well.

1) Run for item which has money for its output even it is just a penny.
