Difference between reference genome and re-sequenced genome

reference genome

Reference genome is the original model for representing the genome assemblies.

Reference genome is a digital nucleic acid sequence database, assembled by scientists as a representative example of a species' set of genes. Although reference genome don't accurately represent the set of genes of any single person, it provides a haploid mosaic of different DNA sequences from each donor.
