<p>Today I heard a speech about Darwin intelligence and consilience of knowledge.</p>

<p>I think professor have a perspective of Darwin with philosophically. He know well about Darwin and want to explain everything with Darwin&rsquo;s theory. At the beginning of the lecture, He say about Novel prize and importance of government&rsquo;s consistence investigation in research.(if government think they are useless). He say also about his current job in 국립생태원 and ecological culture.</p>

<p>&nbsp;In the middle, he worried about the Koreans thinking about Darwin. Recently, most of studies are being contain Darwin&rsquo;s theory. For example, economics after collapse in 2009 with domino effect, firstly they don&rsquo;t know about why the US economy were collapse, even famous professor in economics. Firstly the premise of economics was the people is most reasonable animal when they consume. The traditional economics&rsquo; error is this premise. In Darwin&rsquo;s experiment. The people is not reasonable animal. At 2009, the US economy institute conclude that the reason of collapse is people&rsquo;s greed. The most reasonable consumption can&rsquo;t be a greedy consumption. So nowadays, we focused on psychological thinking in human. Even, economics are changed to Darwin-economics far from newton-economics.</p>

<p>&nbsp;In Darwin&rsquo;s story, At the era of England, he travel many country with research about wild animals.</p>

<p>After, he came back, he don&rsquo;t prove the variability of evolution in wild at the science&rsquo;s perspective, not the religious perspective, &lsquo;the god make animals all differently&rsquo;. So he starts to research about the breeding animals affect by humans. For example, the pegion have very variable features at that era , by breeding artificially. So he think about heritable things(not exactly about what it is) and he say about these &lsquo;Artificial selection&rsquo;. And at that time, Malthus publish &lsquo;On population&rsquo;. That say about, &lsquo;the resource is finite and the organism that mainly use this resource can increase geometrically. So the competition will be appeared in finite resources.&rsquo;</p>

<p>With these theories, Darwin think about &lsquo;Natural selection&rsquo;. That have competition in wild naturally(nature means not natural friendly, just in itself)</p>

<p>So the four thing in Darwin&rsquo;s evolution theory is Variabiltiy, Heritability, Competition for survival (affects by Malthus), Differnetial reproduction(difference about ability of reproduction).</p>

<p>And we heard about the Darwin&rsquo;s interesting stories and finally, we can think about the Darwin is consillence person of the various knowledges. In real, his books sentence are too long, even more than 1page and they contain many perspectives.&nbsp; He joke he publish new- research and study new researches, the publisher say that is same with Darwin&rsquo;s. So he can&rsquo;t study about newly things.</p>

<p>Finally, In bioscience, professor advise about study. In korea, especially most of universities&rsquo; bio academic parts curriculum is all separated by parts for example, molecular biology, genetics, cell biology, differential biology etc&hellip;. he think the bioscience student must have eye of seeing both whole and separately, not seperatively. For example, study cells and integrate the knowledge to whole organism. So he advise, we must have buttom-up procedure in low level like molecule and integrative approach to evolutionary biology. Then we can finally have own biological things, not using the chemical and physics, with only bio-materials.</p>

<p>&nbsp;Today , I went this lecture with the curiousity about perspective and limitation of the Darwin&rsquo;s theory. But here, the Darwin is more bigger concept not only in biological evolutionary things although they have limitations with our previous study. I have wide perspective through today&rsquo;s lecture. I will study Darwin more, after in this time.</p>
