Depending openess and closeness of chromosome(euchromatin, heterochromatin) epigenetic modification occurs or not.

 

Methylation is about 'quantification' not 'binary'. Some people can have 95% of methylation while another people have 50%.

 

Epigenomic is very important biomarker.

By modifying methylation, we can change individual's phenotype.
